About Angela
Angela’s Story
Angela Donadio is a seasoned ministry leader who longs to make life matter for the Kingdom and bring others along on the adventure…
Angela is a published author, international speaker, accomplished musician, Founder of Voice of the Voiceless and the Communicators’ Collective, and host of the top-ranked Make Life Matter Podcast. Angela holds a Master of Leadership and Ministry and partners with her husband, Dale, pastor of River of Life, to lead a diverse church outside of Washington D.C. After twenty years as worship pastor, Angela now leads women and missions.
She grew up in the ministry, but it wasn’t until she nearly lost her life that she truly started living. As the oldest of three girls raised as “PK’s,” – pastor’s kids – Angela gave her life to the Lord at a young age. She received a Bachelor’s of Music in Education from Evangel University, where she met her husband, Dale. She planned to pursue the music industry and Dale intended to go to Law school, but God had other plans. They answered God’s call to full-time ministry and never looked back. However, in 1991 and 1993, Angela experienced two near-death health crises that transformed her relationship with the Lord and her life moving forward.
“After months of undiagnosed illness, I spent eleven days in the hospital with nothing to eat or drink. Running out of options, the doctors ordered one last test. I lay on the cold, metal table as the 45-minute procedure stretched into seven hours. In my darkest moments, I heard God’s voice: ‘Angela, I know you can worship Me on the platform. I want to know if you can worship Me here.’ With tears streaming down my face, I sang ‘Here I am to worship…here I am to bow down…here I am to say that You’re my God…” That moment of surrender ushered in my miracle.”
Angela traded perfectionism and performance for authentic relationship and unbridled abandon to a loving God…
Now, she encourages others to make life matter as they engage with God’s Word, embrace God’s call, and experience God’s heart for missions. Angela is the author of Brave Enough to Believe: How the Life of Doubting Thomas Answers Our Hard Questions, (now available in Spanish!), Fearless: Ordinary Women of the Bible who Dared to Do Extraordinary Things, Finding Joy When Life is Out of Focus: A Study of Philippians for Joy-Thirsty Women, and Astounded: Encountering God in Everyday Moments, 52 Devotions Filled with Heart-felt Stories, Humor, and Hope.
She released three albums, This Journey, It’s a New Day, and Finding Tranquility. She is a sought-after speaker and worship leader, featured at Synergize, Speak Up, Women of Purpose, the National Day of Prayer, and churches and conferences across the country and around the world.
As the Founder of the Communicators’ Collective, she gathers professional female Christian communicators and national and international leaders for an annual retreat providing soul care and community.
Her podcast, Make Life Matter, which engages leading voices in compelling conversations, reaches over 100 nations and ranks in the top 10% of all podcasts globally. Through these communities, she helps others embrace and guard the call of God on their lives.
As the Founder of Voice of the Voiceless, Angela champions women internationally through education and empowerment initiatives. She has traveled to over 30 countries and across the African continent two dozen times. She climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro for clean water and led international ministry and missions’ teams to Israel, Greece, Central America, Africa, and Bangkok, Thailand.
Jesus-girl, grateful mom of two young-adults, lover of statement earrings and adventure- junkie, Angela helps others ground their worth in the Word instead of the narrative of the world. She wants everyone to experience what she’s come to know: serving God is the grandest adventure of them all.
Angela loves to have fun, be real, and find the adventure in life!
